Learning Through Play with Professional Support
Parents have the chance to observe and learn from professionals, gaining confidence in how to play and interact with their child in a meaningful way. This shared experience helps to strengthen the parent-child bond in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Building Key Skills Through Structured Activities
Children take part in fun, structured play sessions that support the development of communication, social interaction, and emotional expression. These activities are designed to help each child progress at their own pace.
Connecting with Other Parents
Our sessions provide a valuable space for parents to meet others who understand their experiences. By sharing stories, advice, and encouragement, families can build a strong, positive support network.
Encouraging Early Understanding and Support
Regular attendance helps parents better understand their child’s needs and notice any early signs of specific challenges. This can be a key step in accessing timely support and interventions if needed.
Creating a Supportive and Inclusive Environment
By involving parents and family members, we raise awareness and understanding of autism within the wider community. A consistent routine and welcoming atmosphere help children and families feel safe, supported, and valued.
We run playgroup sessions for parents of young children with autism. Our friendly and supportive group provides safe, play-based activities to help empower parents to engage with their child in a fun and meaningful way and learn how to build skills in communication and social interaction.
Lead by our team of therapists and tailored for a small group, we provide child-led and evidence-based support to enable your child to make progress, whatever their current level of need.
